Decatur Area Astronomy Club is proud to announce that ViewSpace, the internetIMAGE: -fed self-updating, permanent exhibit from the Space Telescope Science Institute, home of NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope and its successor, the James Webb Space Telescope, is now open to the public.

After more than a year of planning and fundraising ViewSpace in Decatur is now a reality.   The only other venue in Illinois that is currently exhibiting ViewSpace is the Adler Planetarium, in Chicago.  Decatur Area Astronomy Club, the only astronomy club in the United States that is authorized to exhibit ViewSpace, is pleased to bring this exciting display to the citizens of central Illinois. 

The exhibit is housed at the Children's Museum of Illinois at 55 South Country Club Road, in Decatur.
